Dacia M. Arnold is an author of adult dystopian and dark fiction. She enjoys writing main characters who are otherwise normal people with extraordinary abilities.
Dacia is also a ten-year Army veteran who served two tours of
combat as a medic. She didn’t start writing fiction, in fact, until
a few years ago.
However, she wrote what she wanted to read and first novel was a
winner—it drew attention in unfinished form through an online
platform and it’s now set for publication from Immortal Works Press
later this year.
Apparent Power follows a mother on a journey to find her son in a race against a rising, post-apocalyptic government.
As a debut author, Dacia Arnold says she feels a bit like a bull politely shopping in a china shop. In other words, she feels like she doesn’t belong.
But even as a relatively new writer, Dacia has thought about the guilt that comes from not writing and on the podcast we run down her tips for getting over the feeling that you aren’t writing enough.
