This time on the podcast, all about the 2021 edition of the Colorado Gold Rush Literary Awards.
The guests are contest co-chairs ZJ Czupor and Sue Hinkin.
ZJ Czupor writes mysteries, thrillers, and poetry. His novel excerpts have been winners or finalists in the Freddie Award for Writing Excellence, Southeastern Writers; Whodunit Mystery Writing (Mystery Fest Key West); and Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. A screenplay he wrote was a finalist for the Bogart Noir Short Film Competition in Miami.
He’s the author of The Big Weird: Haikus in Times of Pandemic and Chaos, a collection about his observations of the pandemic.
His noir short story, "The Man in the Corner" was featured in Crossing Colfax, a short story anthology from Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers.
ZJ is vice president of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Mystery Writers of America and writes a monthly column, The Mystery Minute, which can be found at their website.
Raised in Chicagoland, Sue Hinkin is a former college administrator, television news photographer and NBC-TV art department staffer.
With a B.A. from St. Olaf College, she completed graduate work at the University of Michigan and was a Cinematography Fellow at the American Film Institute.
